Badminton is a game involving two or four individuals. The game can be played in the form of one player against another single player or a team of two players against another team of two players. It consists of 4 pieces of equipment: Racket, shuttlecock, nets and line court.
The game progresses by using rackets to hit a shuttlecock over the net, in a way that the other player or team can’t hit it back to the other side of the net in time before it hits the floor. Each time the opponent is unable to return the shuttlecock to the other side, the previous player or team gets one point. The winner of each rally gets the chance to serve. The main player or combine have to achieve 21 wins in a game. The champion of the match is the first to win 2 sets.
Badminton follows its history to an amusement called Poon, which was played in Pune, India in the nineteenth century by British military officers that were positioned there. This amusement was then taken by resigned officers back to England where it was recreated and became very popular. In 1877, the principal set of composed tenets were orchestrated by the recently shaped Bath Badminton Club. The All-England Open Badminton Championships, the primary badminton championship game on the planet, was held in 1899. Badminton has been an Olympic game since the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Despite the fact that badminton started in England, it is for the most part played more in Asian nations such as; China, Indonesia and the Republic of Korea, who now rule this game.
