This is a netball drill which is performed in pairs and it requires a single ball for each and every pair. The drill is most effectively performed on a court that is marked for tennis or volleyball.
In order to carry out this drill, all players are asked form a circle with a passer who will be positioned in the center. A ball is to be given to the passer who is in the center of the circle and one ball to any one of the players forming the circle.
To begin, all players are required to space out in one goal third and have to stand around 2 meters away from one another in all directions and they have to all face towards the coach who should be standing in the middle of the circle with the ball.
First thing is to always keep your eye on the ball throughout the game. Watch the players is a second skill you need to develop, but your main objective is to know where the ball is at all times and to anticipate where it will be passed by judging the distance and its speed. High balls which are thrown at a distance, offer the best opportunity to be able to cover ground.
Begin the game by having the players make a circle with two of the players amidst it. The players who have formed the circle should then go to each other utilizing diverse styles of passes along with different speeds and varying heights and as each of the player passes they should have to call the name of the player that they are going to pass to.
This is a fun drill that will help players with their offensive abilities. Begin by separating up the players into two teams and give every player in every team a successive number (so 1, 2, 3 etc).
The game begins by creating 2 parallel lines using players. The 2 players positioned in the front should be holding a ball and stand facing the passer that is far away and requires long passes.
You should go early for practice, stay as late as required or spend some extra time, almost 15 to 20 minutes every day honing necessary skills. Once the technique becomes second nature for you, the rest will come automatically and you will feel even more confident in situations with high-pressure. Furthermore, dedicated players always seek the advice of people who are more experienced.
