Drill #1:
For the sake of this drill, players have to line up in a big circle at the end zone. The drill commences as the coach skates about in a smaller circle within the larger circle made by the players and he passes the puck to the players back and forth as he goes.
A variant to this drill can be that a player goes about in a smaller circle within the larger circle, instead of the coach.
Drill #2:
This drill begins with the players lining up right inside the blue line. The first player skates about, crosses the ice and gets a pass from right across and takes a shot. The player who made the pass skates to the opposite side of the ice to keep the drill going.
Drill #3:
When the whistle is sounded, with reference to the picture below, O1 skates in the direction of O2 and makes a pass to him. O2 makes a one touch pass back in the direction of O1 who skates about O1 and heads to O3 and makes a pass to him. O3 makes a one touch pass back towards) 1 who is skating about O3. When the whistle is sounded, players alter their positions.
Drill #4:
When the whistle is sounded, with reference to the picture below, O1 makes a pass to O2 as he skates to take a shot. O1 then moves about the mid circle in a clockwise direction whereas O2 stretch passes the other puck to O1. O1 has to measure his speed as such that he is there to get the puck at the perfect time. When the stretch pass is received by O1, O3 and O4 start the drill.
Drill #5:
When the whistle is sounded, with reference to the picture below, O1 and O2 start off in opposite directions. O1 gets a pass from O3 and instantly passes it on to O2 who moves into the zone, postpones and feeds to O1 in lieu of a breakaway.
