Drill #1
This is a netball drill which is performed in pairs and it requires a single ball for each and every pair. The drill is most effectively performed on a court that is marked for tennis or volleyball.
First the feeder is required to make a chest pass to their right. The worker is the required to move forward to receive the ball. It is very important that the worker has to run towards the ball and does not stop to catch it.
This drill with is to be repeated with speed for around 30 seconds and then have the players exchange their roles.
Drill #2
This drill is one of the most effective netball drills that help train players to improve on their speed and accuracy abilities on court. This drill involves a total of 3 players and 2 netballs. Again the best way to perform this is on a court that is marked for either tennis or volleyball.
The drill involves two feeders and one worker. The player positioned as the worker in the drill will receive the ball and then has to return a chest pass. They have to then sprint towards their left and return a chest pass again by batting the ball back. After 30 seconds into the game, the positions need to be rotated.
Drill #3
This third drill requires a total of six players, out of which three will be attackers and the other three would be defenders. The drill is performed in one third of the court with a single ball. The players should pass accurately and quickly to one another while making sure they never pass back to the player who passed them the ball in the first place. Players have to make sure to focus on agility, speed, footwork as well as accuracy at all times in the drill and the instance when the ball gets intercepted by one of the defenders, then that player gets to become an attacker and vice versa.
To increase the level of difficulty, you can also bring in a second ball.
