Rebound can be separated into two classifications:
Offensive drill is used when the ball is recouped by the offense while defensive drill is the one in which the defense picks up.
1 V 1 Rebounding
1 offensive player and 1 defensive player.
The ball will be thrown up at the basket.
The defensive player must go make contact (box out) the offensive player and get the rebound.
Once the defensive player has the rebound, they pass back out to the shooter.
The drill rotation is offence to defence, the defence goes off to the back of the line.
Rebound
For rebound drill, you need to foresee where the ball will go and the speed of the ball. Remain around 2 meters from the basket. Toss the ball up to reenact a shot. Bounce and bounce back the ball.
1 On 1 Box Out
Player begins the move by shooting – planning to hit the edge to make the bounce back for the other two players. At the point when the shot goes up the defense player will turn and box-out the hostile player endeavoring to get the bounce back.
In case the offense gets the ball, the player will play 1 on 1 against the defense player. Ensure that protective players reach and go up against each other.
